Hi

How do i stop the ( what you want to do box ) displaying on screen every
time i insert a cd in drive, i am using win xp pro, Thanks

In Windows Explorer, right click on the icon for the CD drive and select
Properties. On the next screen, click the AutoPlay tab. Set your options
for each category. "No Action" should stop the pop up boxes.

If you still have the box showing up, download and install TweakUI for XP.
It allows you to enable/disable autoplay on a per drive basis. I tried the
above steps and while it works for many, my setup was still popping up
those prompt windows. TweakUI put an end to that. If I want autoplay back
temporarily, it's a simple matter of switching the TweakUI setting again.

TweakUI is one of the Power toys for XP. This URL links to the version that
is *only* for XP with SP1:

If you do not have SP1, the earlier version can be found at:

Hi, Happy - and Robert.

It's probably not the clock that's wrong, but the time zone. Robert's time
zone is still set to GMT -0800, which is correct for Microsoft's hometown:
Redmond, Washington, USA.
