Is it possibble to boot Windows XP Pro over the network
and not have a hard drive? i.e. is Windows XP capable of
being a diskless workstation?

If so could you point me to directions?

Unfortunately, no. You need your system partition on a local hard
drive for the system to initialize the hardware and the boot process
on an XP system (NT4 & 2000 also). Theoretically, all you need for
the boot partition is enough space to hold Ntldr, Boot.ini, and
Ntdetect.com, which are less than 1mb combined.

LOL sorry, i have nothing to contribute. but i'm laughing heartily
because at first glance i thought the subject line of your post said
something other than "diskless." ;)
