disk defragment

When I try and run my disk defragment, I get an error message "windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item". I am the administrator and I tried to run the disk defragment in safe mode and it didn't work.

okay, i just figured out, when trying to access a file or folder when i go

into run, I get the same error messeage

"windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. you may not

I go into my start, programs, accessories, systems tools, & disk defrag. but, i think this problem started when Kazza got downloaded to my computer and when I discovered it, I tried to delete it &/or remove it.
