disk cleanup

disk cleanup has stopped functioning. Has anyone had
this problem. Suddenly will not complete compressing
files and no wizard, just hangs up in the middle. If I
close or cancel the application it will not open at all,
like it doesn't exist on repeated attempts to open it.

Annie:
Hit the Start button, click on Set Program Access
and Defaults, click on Add or Remove Programs and scroll
down to the Cleanup guy. Get rid of it here or from a My
Computer search. You don't need it and it doesn't work.
You can delete any cookies or temporary internet files you
don't want, manually in My Computer.
