Disk cleanup - could do better

When I use the Disk Cleanup program (XP Home), it doesn't always remove all the
contents of the Recycle Bin (even thought the Recycle Bin is included in the
list of things to be cleared), it often misses some items, leaving them in the
Bin whilst it deletes the others. There's no common features of the items it
leaves behind. Any suggestions why?

Are you using the Norton Protected Recycle Bin, a component of many Norton
installs?
