Hi,
I have a problem in my network the mapped drive S: is not accessble
once or twice often on all computers running on windows xp
professional.
the errors are either the device is already in use or an error occured
while connecting to S drive.
plz. help me to solve this problem.
my server is using windows 2003 os.

Try mapping the drive with the "persistent" command, like this:

net use x: \\servername (or ip address)\sharename /persistent

As long as you are authenticated on the domain, it should stay connected.
If it becomes disconnected, then click on the mapped drive in My Computer and
try to reconnect.

BTW: are these mapped drives being done via Group Policy or just enabled in
the user's properties in Active Directory?
