Disconnection of Map Network Drive over Wireless LAN

Hi, I am using Windows XP Professional Operating System & USRobotics
Professional Access Point, I am using it witout Domain & running 16-Bit Dos
application, to run this application it is required to have Map Network Drive
on Local PC and the Target Drive will be where application is installed on
Remote PC.
Now when I reboot systems it takes too much time to connect that Drive or
sometime we have to manually reconfigure it.
Is there any way that it gives me performance like I am using Wired Network
& When Users login it must be automaticlly connected without any errors?
My WLAN is using NO Security..
Looking forward for your support!

Try and make it available offline.

Also, see if it is as slow if you connect via. Ethernet.
