Disconnect upon Send

Sometime, but not always, I get disconnected as soon as I hit Send when using
my WaveBroadband email services. I have a new Dell laptop with Windows
Vista. I'm using Kaspersky Internet Security. Following advice from Gary
VanderMolen to Greg, I will turn off Kaspersky's email anti-virus protection.
There was a link to added information which said I need to remove my Email
account, close and reopen Windows Mail and then add my email account back in.
Do I need to do this if I'm using Wave Broadband's email service. Do I need
to have Wave Broadband replace my account with a new one?
 
It sounds like you applied my advice for a different problem then yours.

Try this. In Windows Mail, go to Tools, Accounts, select that mail account,
Properties, Connection. Make sure that "Connect using..." is not enabled.
This will ensure that Windows Mail uses the same connection as IE.
Also go to Tools, Options, Connection. The first option ("Ask...") should
be enabled, the second option ("Hang up...") should not.
