disc tray not opening

ya my cd tray hasnt been opening for about a week now. just the other day i
tried to burn a cd from itunes and it said burning software not able to be
found, than the next day i tried again and when i pushed the button to open
the tray, it wouldnt even open, ive tried restarting and stuff im not a huge
computer person so im not sure what else to try, so any tips or advice would
be awesome.

yeh an awesome tip like:

straighten out a large
safety pin or paperclip
and push it through a tiny
hole near/around the cd tray.
when it reaches the back,
the tray will pop out ...

narley, huh?
