disc clean-up not working

windows keeps closing on disc clean-up after 1min, says there is an
error.....help!!!! how do i get this to work again?

What is the error? Does it do this repeatedly?
Is it one of those that it comes up with dialogue to send the error to
Microsoft?

Check the error logs to see if there's anything in it about the error. Not
sure where the error log is located.

yes it does it repeatedly, and i send error report to microsoft, the error
log, from what i can understand of it says, something abt faultbucket??? if
that means anything? cheers

Please post a copy of the Error Report.

A tip for posting copies of Error Reports! Run Event Viewer and double click
on the error you want to copy. In the window, which appears is a button
resembling two pages. Double click the button and close Event Viewer. Now
start your message (email) and do a paste into the body of the message. This
will paste the info from the Event Viewer Error Report complete with links
into the message. Make sure this is the first paste after exiting from Event
Viewer.
