Disappearing Quick Launch

I am using WinXP Pro SP2. I installed Norton 360 which causes a lot of
problems. One of the problems is that quick launch bar disappears. I
placed the check mark on both Show Quick Launch (Start > Properties>
taskbar tab> Show Quick Launch) and Quick Launch (task bar >toolbars >Quick
Launch). But everytime I reboot Quick Launch bar is gone and the check mark
on both Show Quick Launch and Quick Launch are gone Any other help would
be greatly appreciated. Raymond

When you check Show Quick Launch are clicking on Apply before OK as I
think this is required. You should restart the computer for the serting
to Apply.
