Disappearing Message

On 17/08/07 at 01.00 I sent a message to this Newsgroup about problems I was
having download in Windows XP SP2. The message has now disappeared from
this Newsgroup, please can anybody suggest a reason?

I see the message just fine. Make sure that in View menu>Current View, you
don't have any messages Hidden. Check "Show All Messages" and UNcheck "Show
replies to my messages". Lastly, just in case, in Tools>Options>Read tab,
uncheck "Get xxx headers at a time."

If it still doesn't show up, then you've probably deleted it and you'll have
to reset the NG to get it again Right-click the account in the left column
and "Reset list" -- NOT the newsgroup, the account to which it belongs.

Also, make sure you don't have any rules that delete messages after so many
days. Both in Tools>Message Rules and in Tools>Options>Maintenance tab.

Agreed, they disappeared.. no reason, they just disappeared. Please
post again. Consolidate the two posts so you don't lose the readers.. ;o)

It did not disappear. I just downloaded it half an hour ago.
