Disappearing inboxes in Microsoft Outlook

Is there any way to retrieve disappearing inboxes in Microsoft Outlook? I
lost two business folders and cannot find them. All of the historical emails
are gone!

the historical emails are gone!

Are you using an Exchange server or PSTs to hold your data? If the latter,
enable viewing hidden files and folders and search your hard drive for files
ending in .pst.
