Disappearing Icon

When my wife starts her computer up on Monday (it is only shutdown over the
weekend), the icon for ACT is in the recycle bin. She must restore in order
to use it. Any suggestions?

Could you be a little more specific?
Does this happen every monday or did this issue just start monday?
And by 'the icon' do you mean the shortcut to the program or the actual
main program executable?

This has always happened, just never took it serious. Still isn't but I am
curious.
It is the desktop shortcut icon
