Disappearing icon from system tray

I have a really strange problem with Microsoft
Antispyware that has only been occuring in the last few
days. I have it set up so it loads into the system tray
on start up (as does everyone)and i can see the icon
there but when i go to hover over it, the icon disappears
completely so i cant open the application and do a scan!
how weird is that!!! when i click the desktop icon, i get
the egg timer for a couple of seconds then the icon re
appears in the system tray but the microsoft antispyware
mainscreen doesnt come up. So i try to go to the system
tray icon again and gues what it disppears again. I have
uninstalled and re-installed the program twice with no
joy. Is this a current build fault or is it re-acting
with something new on my computer???. The only new thing
i have installed in the last few days is the beta version
of Microsoft Messenger 7.5 but surely it wouldnt conflict
with this? or is this something Microsoft need to know

Try an update reinstall to fix this:

Start, control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft Antispyware, choose
Change, then Update.
