Disappearing Emails - Moved from Inbox to PST File

I have several PST folders with subfolders underneath them that are stored on
the network. I moved several folders this morning from my inbox to one of
these PST files. The folders made it there ok, but the email content that
was inside the folders ALL DISAPPEARED... Any ideas as to what might have
happened? I just lost about 50 emails that I really need...

Describe the EXACT steps you took to move the folders. State your Outlook
version. You are aware, aren't you, that PSTs on network shares are not
supported and can lead to data loss?

If you use a PST, Outlook requires constant read/write access to it.
PST's should be kept locally on the PC/laptop so that there is no
interruption to the connection. This can cause data loss/corruption.

What I would recommend is that you keep the PST locally and periodically
when you close Outlook, copy the PST up to your network location.
