Disabling XP Help

I would like to disable help to better secure a public
workstation. Can anyone help me?

do you mean the Help and Support service?

Start menu, Run, type SERVICES.MSC, press OK

locate the 'Help and Support' service, right-click, select Properties,
change Startup type to Manual, press Stop button, press OK
