I was recently directed to the group policy editor to be able to disable
users from changing the Internet connection settings. My next question is if
a proxy server is defined in the Internet connections settings tab and then
the tab is disabled in the group policy editor, do the proxy settings that
were defined remain in effect?

Thanks.

Without knowing which gpedit you are speaking of....and from the direction
you were sent, you imply that you wanted to stop anyone from changing the
setting. That said, then yes everything is still in effect.
