Hello Everyone,
I have been a fan of this group for some time now; well here is my
issue,
2000 domain, XP clients
**there are no policies set, this is a test issue**
General Domain users cannot set proxy settings, you see they can access
the LAN Setting tab, add the proxy IP and port, hit ok,ok, then proxy
does not apply. If you go into the LAN settings again, the IP and port
are now gone.
Like I added there are no group policies being pushed at this time?
I have been through everything I can think of, can anyone help?
I was thinking that it maybe permissions, I can set them and keep them
as admin.
Nothing is applied to the local policy as well.
Users need the ability to change proxy IPs on the fly, so setting the
proxy for them is a no go, since you can only set one. (That I know
of).
Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks
Zack
