disabling ICS

I am trying to disable ICS and not disable the ICF on the "Local Area
Connection" using a command line or vbscript and not the windows interface.
Can someone point me in the correct direction? Thanks.

Yes, I agree. There must be something. I have been unable to find anything
and that is why I am asked in the Windows support groups. So far yours is the
best answer and it has not really help me yet. I have looked in the WMI, I
admit I have not looked at everything, there is a lot of information. I am
simply afraid I have missed the key word in a piece of documentation.

There are certainly some nice scripts here. But I am missing the one I am
looking for. I am trying to ensure that ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) for
the Local Area Connection, off the Advanced tab in XP , is unchecked. I would
like to be able to run a script and change the value ie. enable/disable ICS.
Currently, the only way I have found to change this value in using the
Windows gui interface.
