I want to disable or even delete internet explorer(v6), the
reason i want to delete it because it wont stop running, i
know its running because when i press control+alt+delete i
see it running in system processes and if i end it end, it
just starts up again 30secs later. feedback is very
welcome, cheers.

If you mean explorer.exe that is the Windows shell, not Internet Explorer
which shows up as iexplore.exe

have you try this?
start -> setting -> control panel -> add/remove -> windows component ->
uncheck internet explorer

Are you seeing explorer.exe? If so that's the windows shell.
Iexplore.exe is internet explorer.

Iexplore.exe is the real file name. You have downloader adware.
