How do you disable or delete internet explorer?

Ok so far i have got nothing so im going to make this
simple... is there anyway possible to delete or disable
internet explorer(v6)? (don't say windows components untick
because that only deletes the shortcuts) i have already
explained my reason which leads people off the topic so im
not going to mention it again. If you can help me your a
legend, cheers...

I haven't seen the earlier posts,so I don't know why are you trying to
do so.
You can't delete Internet Explorer as it's a part of the Windows itself.

go to add remove program, select IE, and remove it.

You can set other browsers to be the default one (normally just about every
browser has such a feature built in).

Then there's the possibility of "Program Access and Defaults". With one of the
service packs a new icon has appeared in my start menu. It says "Set Program
Access and Defaults". This can be found in the Add/Remove Programs window as
well.
