Disabled VGA driver

I have accidentally disabled the VGA driver on an XP
system. It was the active driver at the time so now I get
a black screen when I reboot. Chosing the VGA option at
startup won't help and the same is true if I choose the
last good setup.
How can I enable the driver?

That's kind of like pulling the plug on the T.V. set and then wanting to
know how to watch it. At this point I am afraid you are in for a
repair/install of the operating system. When you are done, remember to go to
Windows Update to see what has to be reapplied.
