Disabled monitor in current profile

My monitor works fine on a reboot until it loads my personal settings... then
a blank screen. Is there any way to undo this, simple or not? Any help would
be much appreciated.

Perhaps you have selected a mode the monitor cannot display. Try going into
safemode (press F8 before windows starts) and see if you can see your
desktop. Then set check the display settings.
