Multiple monitors problem

Everyone,

In my office, I have one XP machine that is shared by two people i.e. there
is one desktop, and two sets of monitors, keyboards, etc. Both individuals
see the same screen on their individual monitors when any one person logs on.

Someone in our office was playing around with the display settings and
changed the original setting. Now, the monitors are on the standard split
display i.e. now one screen is the primary and the other secondary.

I have tried multiple things to fix this including making only one monitor
the primary, changing the display to multiple monitors, resetting the cables
and restarting the machine. However, nothing has worked.

If anyone has any experience with something similar, I'd appreciate any help
that you can provide.

Thank you,

Depending on the type of video card, you need to set up the "displays"
in "clone" mode instead of "stretching" the desktop over the two
displays

it might be simply easier to utilize
a vga splitter /adaptor cable in
the future.

the device will physically provide
the same desktop to two monitors.
