Disabled drivers in Windows messge

I tried to install Roxio EZ Creator 4 when I installed XP
Home Edition. It installed but wouldn't run, and so I
updated it to Roxio CD Creator 6, which works fine.
However, the 4 must have installed drivers that were not
overwritten by 6 - and whenever I start my computer, I
get a message that windows has disabled drivers that
would make my machine unstable - and refer to Roxio or
Windows Media. It is not bothering my machine, but a
pain to keep clicking this message off. Does anyone know
how I can get these drivers removed from my machine. I
uninstalled Roxio 4 - but that didn;t do it - and the
installation of Roxio 6 did not apparently overwrite the
drivers. Please help if you can. Thanks.

This edit will remove the drivers listed in the article below that causes
the message:

Save the file below to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved it and
double click the file. A confirmation dialog will appear when the script is
done. You may need to reboot for the change to take effect.

CD Recording software will cause Windows to become unstable. Windows has
prevented these drivers from loading.

The uninstall of 4 leaves orphaned references in registry. Start by
uninstalling version 6. Then to tidy up, get a registry patch file,
cdgone.reg, from www.aumha.org/downloads/cdgone.zip, extract it, r-click
on it and merge it into the registry. Reboot

Then reinstall version 6
