DISABLE SERVIVES - WinXp SP2? Need a LIST??

(I) am using windows xp sp2. I need a list of SERVICES that show which
ones can and cannot be disabled to make the OS run a little more
efficiently than it does stock.

So does such a list exist? Website perhaps?

I tried a google search and all I get are outdated or very poorly
designed sites targeted toward assembly programmers.

Youre really wasting youre time,yes services can be disabled thru services.msc
(type in run),however disableing 1or 2 wont make a diffrence.For a list,go

Agreed. Disabling services is not the way to make a computer run more
efficiently, and can lead to problems either immediately or down the road.
