disable mailto: hyperlink

I use Outlook 2000 and when I copy a string of email addresses into the body
of an email (or the notes field in a contact file), it creates a second
mailto: hyperlink for each email address. Is there a way to disable this
feature? It's driving me crazy!!

Right click on the link and choose erase hyperlink

or paste into notepad first, then copy and paste into the message.
