DISABLE DAE

How do I disable DAE in windows media player 10, I only
can find info for older versions.

Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
The Control Panel window appears.
Double-click the System icon, and then click Device Manager.
Click the plus (+) sign next to CD-ROM, click to highlight your CD or DVD
drive, and then click Properties.
Click to uncheck Enable Digital CD Audio for the CD or DVD drives, and then
click Close.
 
That would be for playback, DAE or Digital Audio Extraction is a bit
different.

You do this the exact same way you would with older versions. Tools |
Options | Devices | CD Drive | Properties. Audio tab.
