Disable closing previous screen/page when new page/screen is opene

Is there a way NOT to close the previous screen/page when opening a new page
in explorer. In other words have the screen minimize in taskbar, instead of
closing down when going to the next web page or web link.

Yes, there are a couple of ways to do this.
One way is; right click to 'open a new window' the other is, clear the box
next to 'reuse windows for launching shortcuts...go to IE
toolbar>tools>advance tab.

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced, under Browsing untick the item
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts". Ok your way out.
