disable caching?

I got the blue screen of death and it said I need to
disable caching? How do I do that?
 
Caching

A process in which frequently accessed data is kept on
hand, rather than constantly being from the place where it
is stored.

Sounds to me like internet cookies are building up, and
documents as well. I have the same prob with the blue
screen, its evil. be carefull if it comes up a certain
amount of times it will destroy your hard drive
 
So do you think disabling the DNS caching was what it
meant? I haven't had any problems since I did disable
that but its only been a day.
