disable auto-update window XPH

Hi,
Since I installed Service Pack 2, after every boot-up,
I'm warned that Windows XP auto-update is disabled.
How do you disable this message from loading?
I prefer manual updates, and find this alert annoying.
Thanks,
Bill NJ

Hi

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way
Security Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.

Bill,
Go to Control Panel>Automatic Updates..........probably you have selected
"Turn off Automatic Updates" change this selection to "Notify me but don't
automatically download or install"
