Dirtect Cable Conn error 721

I am trying to connect two XP Professional computers using
a parallel port cable. Followed instructiuons to a tee
but still cant get the host computer to acvcept the
incoming connection. Get error 721. Any help would be
most appreciated. Thanks so much and happy new year!
