A lady called me tonight... one of my customers. Yesterday automatic update
did Service Pack 2 to her. Her big thing at home is playing Cribbage on
line. I think she said it's through Yahoo. Anyway, it quit working. She
gets the notice about clicking on the whatever bar it is now that comes up
in Internet Explorer. When she clicks on that, it's telling her that her
Security Settings in Internet Explorer won't allow what she's trying to do
and explains to her that she needs to "allow" directX. So I led her thru
that and she checked "allow" in both places. It's still giving her the same
message about her security settings. At this point I'm stumped.
The lady is computer literate. She's secretary of our phone company and
is doing all the billing, 911, directory services, and all that good stuff
with SP2 installed at work.
I don't know how to play Cribbage or I'd try it myself... I'm pretty
good at Scrabble though!
