DirectX

I am having a problem with DirectX when running games on
my computer. For example, I go to start my game, Grand
Theft Auto 3, and it loads to the main menu, then when I
actually start a game in it, A pop up comes up saying:
Unhandled exception: c0000005 At Address: 005454d4.
I've tried other games and I get the same popup, but
different numbers. I've tried reinstalling DirectX, I've
tried reinstalling Windows XP, and then uninstally
DirectX and then installing it again, and it still didn't
work. Can anyone help me?

You should look for an updated graphics driver. (DirectX does not actually
include your graphics driver.)
