Directx 9.0c

I need to reinstall directx 9c. I found this out when I
was having a graphics problem in a game and ran dxdiag.
There are error messages saying that registry entries for
directx are missing. Tried to reinstall directx from MS
website, but it says that the application is already
installed and will not reinstall it.

Any help would be appreciated.
