Is anyone familiar with this?? Have no idea what it is,
whether it is ok programme or something that is breech of
security on my pc....any help appreciated!!

Its a security fix from Microsoft for DirectX that came out in June. I take
it your seeing this in the Ad-Remove Programs dialog box?
