Direct X Problem

I have a Readeon 9700 Pro card installed on my Win2000 system.....
I installed direct x ver 9.0b and the most recent drivers from ATI. However
when I run the Direct X diag. tool I get an error saying

" The procedure entry point DdEntry1 could not be located in the dynamic
link lidrary GDI32.dll"

This is pissing me off cause the card won't run in Dx 9 mode

I need help..................

Win2k service pack 4
P4 @ 2.4Ghz

did you load the proper GART driver before installing your ATI drivers

if not uninstall your ati drivers and make sure you install the Gart drivers
then install ati drivers
