Direct X 9.0b troubles

I can't install DX9.0b on my system, it says that it
hasn't passed Windows Compatibility Testing and it
refuses to continue.

System Specs: AMD Athlon 2500+ on an Abit NF7 board with
256MB of PC2700 and a GeForce 3 Ti200 w/ 128MB of DDR.
