My old pocket tv will be pointless since it does,nt pick up freeview.

Don,t see the reason selling these now unless there Digital.

Do we all need DAB radio or can we still pick up fm?

I think analogue signals are being broadcast for abround another six years in the London area whilst everywhere else is gradually being phased out over that time period.

So yes, buying anything with an analogue tuner is pointless.

And DAB radio hasn't been the success everybody predicted, there's actually a possibility it may be discontinued. But that's unlikely.

FM is likely to be around for some considerable time but the preferred medium for radio is likely to be over the Freeview channels, alongside TV stations.

Although atm the most popular way of listening to radio is over the internet, according to a recent survey.
