Digital Negative Format

Is there a way to preview .dng format files in Windows Explorer? I've
installed RAW Image Thumbnailer and Viewer for Windows XP but that doesn't
give me a thumbnail view in explorer. Thanks, jimt

Reading this:
"The Digital Negative (DNG) is a new, publicly available archival
format for the raw files generated by digital cameras. DNG is based on
the TIFF file format specification."
http://filext.com/detaillist.php?extdetail=dng+&Search=Search

I'd try and rename it .TIF and see what happens.
