Digital Camera

T

The One

I am have having a bit of a problem with my digital camera
on XP pro with SP1.
It is a kodak camera, about 2 or 3 years old.
I have installed the drivers for it. (Not specifically
for XP) I have since downloaded XP drivers, which seem
identical to the old ones.
I plug it in (USB) and a little message comes up saying
that the camera is plugged in, it recognises the model and
there are no conflicts, either with the USB ports or with
the camera itself.
When I try to acquire pictures, it says there is no camera
connected. The strange thing is that when acquiring I am
able to select the camera as the source.
Any ideas, I am pulling my hair out.
Thanks,

Hello, What software are you using to acquire the
pictures? Does the camera show up in explorer as an
exchangeable drive? I believe that one of the Fuji S/W
products came up with an error like this..
