digital camera battery concern

MARCY

Hi- I am considering the purchase of one of two digital
cameras-One of the cameras requires (1) cr123 lithium
battery. The other camera requires (2) AA batteries which
I plan to buy the Nimh kind rechargable if I do get this
camera- Do you sell rechargeable lithium batteries & does
this kind (rechargeable lithium) exist?please respond-
Also, which battery lasts longer overall: a cr123 lithium
or 2 rechargeble AA????
THis will help determine which camera I purchase. WHIch
is the best buy ?

Choose a camera based on the features that will
best fill your needs...batteries are the least of your
worries.

There is lots of info at the following sites, including
sample images and user reviews.

BTW, my Sony uses a rechargable Lithium battery
and my son uses rechargable AAs in his Canon...
one works as well as the other.

He purchased Ray-O-Vac NiMH batteries...
(charge in one hour) and the Ray-O-Vac 1 hour
charger.

Rayovac Rechargeable NiMH

Rayovac's 1-Hour NiMH Charger

BTW, he also tried the 15 minute rechargeables
and was not happy with them.

Either way...it's a good idea to purchase extra
batteries.

And no we don't sell batteries, this is a newsgroup.

John: THanks for your input & advise- I will go to the
sites u suggested & see what info I can get there. Yes, I
understand that this is a newsG. I guess what I meant to
put was "Do THEY sell recharchageable
lithium........instead of do you sell...........
So based onwhat you wrote, the answer is YES because your
Sony uses this type- THanks again!!!!

You're welcome.

BTW...yes, the lithium batteries are rechargable.
Camera's that use them typically come with some
means of recharging them...either a separate
charger or a cable that allows recharging while
still in the camera.
