Difficulty accessing files on network

Ok, here's the problem. I have two computers connected via a router. On
this machine, in my network places, i can see the other computer but when I
attempt to access files I get this error:

\\(computer name)\(file name) is not accessible. You might not have
permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this
server to find out if you have access permissions.

Not enough server storage is available to process this command.

The other machine can access this one with out issue.

The other thing I have noticed is that when I bring up the my network places
page on this machine, there are two folders on this machine under the heading
"local network" and all shared files on the other machine are under the
heading "The Internet" On the other machine, everything is under the
heading "local network"

Does this make a difference or not?

Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.

Thanks for your help on this one, this was only the second or third time I
have ever had to edit the registry so I was a little afraid of screwing
something up. I followed the directions and now both of my computers can
access files on the network again.

Outstanding!
