Difficulties Publishing w FP2003

When attempting to publish a small website the following error occurs.

Could not find a web server at 'XXX' on port 80. Please check to make sure
that the web server name is valid and your proxy settings are set correctly.
If you are sure that everything is correct, the web server may be temporarily
out of service.

I can publish files < 32K by uploading them individually. Anything greater
causes the error above.

I've disabled my Windows Firewall. I am not sure what to try next. Each
time the error occurs I need to reboot my computer and router as I lose my
Internet connection.

Thanks in advance,
LHines

Are you using FTP mode or HTTP mode? if you've used FTP mode you've
probably corrupted the server extensions - reinstall them and have your host
run a check on them.

Have you done as suggested by the error message, check the server name is
correct and your proxy settings are set correctly?

Sound like either a virus or you are running some 3rd party app (like yahoo) that is blocking port 80

Virus checking does not reveal any errors. Yahoo is the host for this site. I
have previously reset server extensions in Yahoo. Is there any way to change
blocking port 80, if it is Yahoo?

It might be worth adding that I've created other sites with Yahoo as the host
using Yahoo Sitebuilder and have been capable of uploading graphics larger
than 32K.

BTW, I am using HTPP mode, not FTP, as Yahoo online info strongly
discourages that.

Thanks again.
