cannot publish website from local to remote server

Help! I can't publish my website. These are the messages that I got on
Friday: "Could not find a Web server at 'www.riada-equipment.com' on port 80.
Please check to make sure that the Web server name is valid and your proxy
settings are set correctly. If you are sure that everything is correct, the
Web server may be temporarily out of service." The other message I would get
is: "Server error: Web <Root Web> is busy. Please try again.

Yesterday I thought I would reinstall FP (I'm using 2003 upgrade). Now I'm
receiving this message: "Unable to open 'http://www.riada-equipment.com'.
Server error: Could not find a Web server at 'www.riada-equipment.com'.
Please check to make sure that the Web server name is valid and your proxy
settings are set correctly. If you are sure that everything is correct, the
Web server may be temporarily out of service. Possible causes: 1. The web
server may not have the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. 2. The web
server may be temporarily out of service. 3. If you are connecting through
a proxy server, the proxy settings may be incorrect. 4. An error may have
occurred in the web server. If this server does not support the FrontPage
Server Extensions, FrontPage may still be able to publish to the servia via
FTP or WebDAV. Please select one of these options and try again."

Now if I try to publish a popup screen titled "Remote Web Site Properties"
comes up? Have I totally screwed this up?

Thanks in advance for any help.

1. Does the remote server have the FP extensions installed?

2. If yes, then make sure you are typing the domain as:
http://www.riada-equipment.com

3. Have you contacted your web host and ask them to run a server health check on the extensions for
your account?

It sounds to me like your connection is not configured correctly.
1) Type of connection
2) Location (maybe forgot 'http://' or something
other cause?

According to http://www.riada-equipment.com/_vti_inf.html your site has the FP 2002 SE installed
If you are using http://www.riada-equipment.com/ and getting an error contact you host to run a server health & permissions check
PS
You can also try to opening it by browsing to the home page in IE and using File Edit w/ FP
