What are the differences between the Home version of PowerPoint and the
"full" version?

No difference I Believe.

The wording 'home' is referring to 'office' and now powerpoint.

As in "office *home* and student edition"
- normally includes, word, excel, powerpoint, onenote

What TAJ said. Also, Home and Student Office applications aren't supposed to
be used for commercial work.
