Difference between Pack And Go and PPS files

Could someone please explain what is the difference between the 2 files (an
exe and a ppz file) produced by the Pack and Go wizard and a PPS file?

Does the Pack & Go Wizard automatically include the PowerPoint Viewer or
does that still need to be put on the CD that contains the 2 Pack and Go
files?

Would someone without PowerPoint be able to run a PPS file if they had the
viewer?

How is the PPS different from a normal PPT file?

The EXE is a self-executing file. That means it "runs" when you double-click
it. The EXE created by Pack and Go also needs the PPZ file in order to
"run." So in this case, you can consider the EXE and the PPZ as a pair.

If you choose the option to include the Viewer, Pack and Go includes the
Viewer in that EXE/PPZ file combination.

Yes.

PPS is just like a PPT file, except when you double-click a PPS it opens in
Show mode. PPT opens in Normal ("edit") mode.
