1. Is the french canadian version of windows xp the same as the version used
in france?
2. If not will i run into problems if i install the french canadian version
on a laptop and take it to france?
3. When you do a clean install with a windows xp upgrade cd it requires you
to insert a cd of an older version of windows. If the windows xp upgrade cd
is in french, will it work if you insert an english windows 95 cd?

You'll need to purchase a "Full French Version" of Window XP
in either Home Edition or Professional, then perform a
"clean install". An older Windows CD in English will not qualify
for using an "Upgrade Version" of Windows XP French.

After installing the French version of Windows XP, be sure to
download the video adapter, audio drivers, and other specialized
drivers available from your laptop's support website.
