Dictionary style fonts

How do I type a word dictionary style - using all the little symbols above
the letters or unside down letters? I find nothing under fonts or symbols.
Language only gives fonts in different languages not american dictionary
style. I am using student/teacher 2003.

The standard unicode set (Insert > symbol) has an extensive range of
diacritic characters, and some of the common phonetic alphabet as well
(schwa is at 018F). Otherwise, download a phonetic font. Google will find
you plenty.

It really depends upon what fonts are installed on your system. Choose
Insert - Symbol - Symbols tab, and take a look at the different character
sets offered for each font.

Found it - I had been trying to insert> symbol but didn't realize that
different fonts created different symbols. You've been a big help - I've
been at this for almost 3 hours trying to figure it out. I knew it had to be
something simple I was missing.
